The Alliance organised a Parliamentary roundtable hosted by Irene Campbell MP to discuss the successful work in Denmark to shift to more plant-rich and organic diets. This has been supported by their Government and led by the Danish Agriculture & Food Council which has utilised tools like public procurement to help drive change.
As a result of the meeting, Irene Campbell MP sent the letter below to the Government Ministers who are responsible for developing a UK Food Strategy requesting they look at the work done by the Danes and how the UK should follow their footsteps to otabin a healthier and more sustainable food system.
